Ground Turkey Stuffed Mushrooms

Description

Savory stuffed mushrooms filled with a flavorful mixture of ground turkey, herbs, and cheese, perfect as an appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 20 large white mushrooms
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems. Chop stems finely and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion, garlic, and chopped mushroom stems until softened.
  4. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  6. Stuff each mushroom cap with the turkey mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

You can add shredded mozzarella or spinach to the stuffing for extra flavor and texture.
