Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.
- Pour sauce into skillet and stir to coat the turkey.
- Add cornstarch slurry and simmer until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
- Serve over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra vegetables, add bell peppers, broccoli, or snap peas while cooking the turkey.
