A bold and fiery homemade habanero hot sauce, perfect for adding serious heat and flavor to any dish.
Ingredients

- 10 fresh habanero peppers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 120ml white vinegar
- 120ml water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and remove the stems from the habanero peppers.
- Peel the garlic cloves.
- Add the peppers, garlic, water, and vinegar to a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender.
- Add the salt, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Pour into a sterilized bottle.
Notes
Wear gloves when handling habanero peppers. Store the sauce in the refrigerator for several weeks.
