  • Author: Crystal
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

These buttery Hawaiian sweet roll sliders, layered with savory ham, melted Swiss cheese, and a tangy honey‑mustard glaze, are the perfect bite‑size party treat. Easy to assemble and bake, they bring a sweet‑savory twist to any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12‑ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ pound thinly sliced cooked deli ham
  • ½ pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons minced dried onion (or fresh minced onion)
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the rolls horizontally, leaving a hinge on one side.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, honey, poppy seeds, and kosher salt.
  3. Brush the mixture generously over the cut sides of each roll.
  4. Layer ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each roll.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls over the fillings.
  6. Arrange the sliders on a parchment‑lined baking sheet.
  7. Melt butter and brush the tops of the sliders. Bake for 10‑12 minutes, until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

Tip: Use fresh minced onion for a brighter flavor. Substitute turkey ham or cheddar cheese for variety. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; reheat in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes to retain crispness.
