Ingredients

- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 (heaping) cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp. pumpkin spice
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, pumpkin puree, water, and pumpkin spice.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and begins to simmer.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer gently for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Let cool, then transfer to a jar or bottle.
- Store in the refrigerator and shake before each use.
Notes
Use in coffee, lattes, or over pancakes and waffles. Shake well before using as it may settle.
