Description

This Honey Garlic Salmon is pan-seared to perfection and coated in a sticky, sweet and savory glaze. It’s quick, flavorful, and perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add salmon fillets skin-side down (if using skin-on) and cook for 4–5 minutes, until golden and crispy. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon in the skillet.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened and the salmon is fully cooked.
  7. Spoon the glaze over the salmon to coat well.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey garlic sauce for 15 minutes before cooking. Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.
