Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, ginger, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape into small meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- While meatballs bake, make the sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Whisk in cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens.
- Toss cooked meatballs in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
These meatballs can be meal-prepped ahead of time. Serve with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
