Description

Discover the ultimate comfort food with this Instant Pot Corned Beef recipe. Tender, flavorful brisket cooked quickly under pressure, perfect for sandwiches, salads, or a hearty main dish. Ideal for St. Patrick’s Day or any day you crave a delicious, hassle‑free meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (3 pound) corned beef brisket with spice packet

Instructions

  1. Place water, beer, and garlic in the Instant Pot inner pot.
  2. Add the corned beef brisket, fat side up, and sprinkle the spice packet over the meat.
  3. Seal the lid and set to Manual/Pressure Cook on high for 90 minutes.
  4. Allow a natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  5. Remove the brisket, slice against the grain, and serve with the cooking liquid.

Notes

For a milder flavor, use stout instead of beer. Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze sliced portions for up to 3 months. Reheat gently in the microwave or skillet with a splash of broth.
