Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh dill or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place the seasoned salmon on the trivet in a single layer.
- Add minced garlic and lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Close the lid, set the valve to Sealing, and cook on Manual High Pressure for 3 minutes.
- Allow a 5-minute natural pressure release, then carefully perform a quick release for any remaining pressure.
- Open the lid and gently remove the salmon using tongs or a spatula.
- Garnish with fresh dill or parsley and serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, marinate the salmon in olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic for 15 minutes before cooking. Do not overcook — Instant Pot salmon stays tender with short cooking times.
