- 6 bone-in, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and apple cider vinegar.
- Place the chicken thighs in the Instant Pot.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
- Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Allow a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then carefully release remaining pressure.
- Remove the chicken thighs and set aside.
- Turn the Instant Pot to sauté mode.
- Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce.
- Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the pot and coat with the sauce.
- Serve hot with extra sauce spooned over the top.
Notes
For extra heat, add more sriracha. Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
