A quick and flavorful Korean-inspired ground beef bowl with sweet, savory, and spicy flavors served over rice.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes to let flavors combine.
- Serve beef over warm white rice.
- Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Adjust spice by adding more or less red pepper flakes. Works great with brown rice or cauliflower rice.
