- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Optional: steamed broccoli or carrots for serving
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and rice vinegar, stirring well to coat the turkey.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes to let flavors combine.
- Serve the seasoned ground turkey over cooked white rice.
- Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Optional: serve with steamed broccoli or carrots on the side.
Notes
Adjust soy sauce and sugar to taste. This dish also works well with ground chicken or beef.
