Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Water as needed to thin
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, lime juice, and sweetener in a saucepan.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and sriracha.
  3. Heat over medium, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.
  5. Simmer 3–5 minutes to blend flavors.
  6. Taste and adjust salt, lime, or sweetness.
  7. Serve warm or store refrigerated up to 5 days.
