Description

These little cheddar meatloaves are the perfect individual-sized comfort food, packed with cheesy goodness and savory flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg and milk together.
  3. Stir in cheese, oats, onion, and salt.
  4. Add ground beef and mix well.
  5. Shape into 8 small loaves and place in a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
  7. Spoon sauce over each loaf.
  8. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

Notes

You can double the sauce for extra coverage or serve some on the side for dipping.
