Juicy turkey meatballs glazed with a sweet and tangy maple mustard sauce, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined and form into small meatballs.
- Place meatballs on prepared baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes, until fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan.
- Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss cooked meatballs in the maple mustard sauce until coated.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a meal.
Notes
For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley or thyme to the meatball mixture. These also work well made ahead and reheated in the sauce.
