Description

A moist and flavorful meatloaf infused with creamy ricotta cheese, herbs, and spices for the ultimate comfort meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
  4. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
  5. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, mix a little Worcestershire sauce into the meat mixture. Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
