Description
Juicy Mediterranean turkey burgers loaded with herbs and spices, served with refreshing homemade tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices (for topping)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for tzatziki)
- Salt to taste (for tzatziki)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, red onion, garlic, parsley, feta, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape into 4 patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, make tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
- Toast burger buns lightly.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, turkey patty, and a generous spoonful of tzatziki.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavor, refrigerate tzatziki for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
