Fun and spooky meringue treats shaped like bones and ghosts, perfect for Halloween parties or festive gatherings.

			- 4 large egg whites, room temperature
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (95°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
 - In a clean mixing bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
 - Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat until stiff, glossy peaks form.
 - Beat in the vanilla extract.
 - Transfer meringue into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
 - Pipe bone shapes and ghost shapes onto prepared baking sheets.
 - Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until dry and crisp.
 - Turn off the oven and let meringues cool inside with the door slightly ajar.
 - For ghosts, use melted chocolate or edible markers to draw eyes and mouths after cooling.
 
Notes
Make sure your mixing bowl is completely grease-free to achieve perfect stiff peaks. Store in an airtight container to keep them crisp.
