This Million Dollar Meatloaf is tender, juicy, and filled with rich flavor thanks to a cheesy cream cheese center and a savory glaze topping.

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, milk, parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- On a sheet of parchment paper, shape half the meat mixture into a loaf base.
- Spread softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar over the top, keeping it away from the edges.
- Cover with the remaining meat mixture and seal the edges well to enclose the cheese.
- Transfer loaf to a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 55β65 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160Β°F (70Β°C).
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For best results, use freshly shredded cheese. Leftovers reheat well and can be used for sandwiches.
