Description

These spooky Mini Meatloaf Ghosts are the perfect fun and festive dinner for Halloween night, complete with mashed potato ghosts on top.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • Black sesame seeds or peppercorns for eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide mixture into 6 portions and shape into mini meatloaves. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare mashed potatoes if not already done.
  6. Once meatloaves are done, pipe mashed potatoes on top using a piping bag to create ghost shapes.
  7. Press sesame seeds or peppercorns into mashed potatoes for eyes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your spooky dinner!

Notes

For extra flavor, brush meatloaves with ketchup or BBQ sauce before baking. Use a star or round piping tip for the best ghost effect.
