Description

A comforting one-pot cheeseburger macaroni made with tender pasta, seasoned ground beef, and a rich creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter and sauté the onion until soft.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the uncooked macaroni and beef broth.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10–12 minutes until pasta is cooked.
  7. Pour in the milk and stir until combined.
  8. Add the cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  9. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, top with pickles or add a dash of mustard to mimic a true cheeseburger taste.
