Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  5. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  7. Pour in beef broth and milk, then bring to a boil.
  8. Add egg noodles, stir well, and reduce heat to a simmer.
  9. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
  10. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until fully combined.
  11. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version. For extra creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream with the sour cream.
