Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts, 150–180g / 5–6 oz each
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Finely chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pound chicken to even thickness if needed.
- Mix brown sugar, paprika, oregano/thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pat chicken dry, rub with olive oil, then coat with seasoning mix.
- Place on a baking tray and bake for 18–20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness. Resting the chicken keeps it juicy.
