Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Valentine’s sprinkles or heart-shaped candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Scoop dough and roll into balls, placing them on a baking sheet.
  7. Gently flatten each cookie with a fork.
  8. Decorate with Valentine’s sprinkles or candies.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  10. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
