Description

A creamy, spicy Peruvian green sauce packed with fresh herbs and bold flavor, perfect for grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or sandwiches.


Ingredients

  • 2 jalapeño peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 green onions
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the jalapeños, garlic, and green onions.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
  5. Chill before serving for best flavor.

Notes

For less heat, remove the seeds from the jalapeños before blending.
