  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon dried mustard
  • Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ketchup, vinegar, honey, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and spices in a saucepan.
  2. Whisk in olive oil until fully incorporated.
  3. Bring mixture to simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat to low and cook for 8-10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.

Notes

Storage: Refrigerate in sealed container for up to 3 weeks.

Substitutions: Maple syrup can replace honey • White vinegar works if apple cider isn’t available
