- ¾ pound Eckrich Ham Off the Bone deli meat, sliced
- 12 sweet slider buns
- 24 slices Swiss, provolone, or pepper jack cheese (your choice)
- ½ cup butter
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the slider buns on the prepared sheet.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in brown sugar, dijon mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the glaze is smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Brush the glaze generously over the ham and cheese on each bun.
- Cover with the top bun halves.
- Bake for 10‑12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the glaze is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne to the glaze. You can substitute the ham with turkey or roast beef for a different flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; reheat briefly in the oven to retain crispness.
