Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small zucchini, grated
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: extra ketchup or BBQ sauce for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, zucchini, carrot, garlic, oats, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently until well combined — avoid overmixing.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
  5. Spread a thin layer of ketchup or BBQ sauce on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra moisture, don’t overcook. You can double the recipe and freeze individual slices for meal prep.
