- 1 ½ lbs ground turkey
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small zucchini, grated
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: extra ketchup or BBQ sauce for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, zucchini, carrot, garlic, oats, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until well combined — avoid overmixing.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
- Spread a thin layer of ketchup or BBQ sauce on top if desired.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra moisture, don’t overcook. You can double the recipe and freeze individual slices for meal prep.
