Description

A moist and flavorful pumpkin bread loaf, perfectly spiced with warm autumn flavors and ideal for breakfast or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together pumpkin puree, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, fold in 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or chocolate chips before baking.
