Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 & 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 & 1/2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard (or creole mustard)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika (sweet or smoked)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning (*see note)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (dill or sweet)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (Tabasco or Sriracha)
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • Grind of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

Note: If using Creole seasoning, start with 1/2 teaspoon and adjust to taste. For a lighter consistency, add a tablespoon or two of water or lemon juice.
