  • Author: Crystal
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 2-3 servings 1x

Description

Savory and tender salmon bites glazed with a sweet and salty sesame-maple sauce. Perfect as an appetizer or quick protein-packed snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound salmon filets (skin removed)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, maple syrup (or honey), soy sauce (or coconut aminos), minced ginger, and garlic salt.
  3. Add the salmon cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly.
  4. Let the salmon marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the marinated salmon pieces and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve warm with extra sauce or over rice if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the salmon to keep it juicy. You can substitute maple syrup with honey for a slightly different flavor.
