Salmon Loaf Supreme is a hearty, retro-inspired dish made with canned salmon, herbs, and breadcrumbs, baked to golden perfection and topped with a creamy, zesty sauce. It’s simple, budget-friendly, and surprisingly elegant.

- 2 cans (14.75 oz each) pink salmon, drained and flaked
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- For the topping sauce: 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp chopped dill
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix salmon, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes or until firm and lightly browned on top.
- While the loaf bakes, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and dill in a small bowl to make the sauce.
- Let the salmon loaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm with the dill sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
Notes
You can substitute fresh cooked salmon for canned if desired. Leftovers are delicious served cold or as a sandwich filling the next day.
