Ingredients

- 1 can of salmon (or cooked fresh salmon)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, crushed crackers, or oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions or green onions
- 1 tsp mustard (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, dill, etc.) (optional)
- A dash of hot sauce (optional)
- Lemon zest (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Drain the salmon and remove bones if needed.
- In a large bowl, mix salmon with eggs, breadcrumbs, onions, and any optional add-ins.
- Form into patties with your hands.
- Heat a bit of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and heated through.
- Serve hot with sauce or salad.
