  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 large potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Layer sliced potatoes evenly over the beef mixture.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and sliced carrots on top.
  5. Pour diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth over the layers.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
