Ingredients

- 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled, deveined)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Shredded red cabbage
- Avocado slices or guacamole
- Cilantro-lime crema
- Fresh pico de gallo
- Crumbled cotija cheese (optional)
- Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- Warm tortillas and assemble tacos by layering shrimp with red cabbage, avocado or guacamole, cilantro-lime crema, and pico de gallo.
- Top with cotija cheese if using and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
You can substitute cotija with feta cheese or omit for a dairy-free option.
