Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with chopped onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, and sour cream. Mix well.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
