- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with chopped onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, and sour cream. Mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Customize by adding vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms, or using different types of cheese.
