Ingredients

- 300g raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 150g egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 liter chicken or seafood broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger and sautƩ until fragrant.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Add soy sauce, fish sauce, and black pepper.
- Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions.
- Add the shrimp and simmer for 2ā3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Ladle the soup into bowls.
- Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
Notes
Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender and juicy.
