Ingredients

- 3 to 4 bone-in chicken breasts (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 pounds total)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (or water)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 3 to 4 tablespoons butter, optional
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (or more)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Pour in the chicken broth (or water).
- Drizzle oil over the chicken.
- Dot with butter if using.
- Sprinkle with oregano, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides.
Notes
You can sear the chicken breasts before placing in the slow cooker for added flavor.
