Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken drumsticks (about 8 pieces)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Optional: Transfer drumsticks to a baking sheet and broil for 2–3 minutes to crisp the skin.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
