- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken thighs to the slow cooker.
- Add sliced onion and minced garlic over the chicken.
- In a bowl, mix chicken broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with the cooking juices spooned over the top.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, place the cooked chicken thighs under the broiler for a few minutes before serving.
