Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the peppermint extract and mix well.
- Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until a stiff dough forms.
- Divide the dough into portions and tint each with food coloring as desired.
- Roll small amounts of dough into balls and flatten slightly with a fork.
- Optional: roll in granulated sugar for a sparkling finish.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray and let dry at room temperature for 12–24 hours.
