Description

These melt-in-your-mouth soft peppermint candies are the perfect festive treat—easy to make and great for gifting or holiday parties!


Ingredients

  • 4 cups powdered sugar, plus more for dusting
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Food coloring (red and green)
  • Granulated sugar for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the peppermint extract and mix well.
  3. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until a stiff dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into portions and tint each with food coloring as desired.
  5. Roll small amounts of dough into balls and flatten slightly with a fork.
  6. Optional: roll in granulated sugar for a sparkling finish.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined tray and let dry at room temperature for 12–24 hours.
