A classic spaghetti recipe made with tender ground beef and a rich tomato sauce. It’s hearty, satisfying, and perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.

			- 1 lb ground beef
 - 12 oz spaghetti
 - 1 small onion, chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 1 tbsp olive oil
 - Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
 - Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
 
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
 - Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
 - Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
 - Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
 - Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
 - Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen the flavor.
 - Pour in marinara sauce and add red pepper flakes if using. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
 - Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
 - Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top.
 
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a splash of red wine while the sauce simmers. You can also add chopped mushrooms or bell peppers to the sauce.
