- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons chili crisp
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix the chili crisp, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip the chicken and spoon the chili crisp sauce over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 18–22 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
Adjust the amount of chili crisp depending on your heat preference. Serve with rice or steamed vegetables to balance the spice.
