Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the chili crisp, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Flip the chicken and spoon the chili crisp sauce over the top.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 18–22 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
