A bold and fruity salsa that packs a punch with the heat of habanero peppers and the sweetness of ripe peaches.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and diced
- 2 medium or 1 large yellow tomato, cored and diced
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely diced
- 1/3 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1–3 habanero peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- Juice and zest of 1 lime
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced peaches, tomatoes, red bell pepper, and red onion.
- Add chopped cilantro and habanero peppers to the bowl.
- Squeeze in the lime juice, add the zest, and sprinkle in the salt.
- Stir the mixture well to combine all ingredients.
- Let the salsa sit for 10–15 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
- Serve fresh or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Notes
Start with one habanero and increase as desired. Always wear gloves when handling hot peppers.
