Rich and chocolatey fudge muffins decorated with spooky spider webs, a fun and festive treat for Halloween parties.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted (for webs)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool completely before decorating.
- Pipe circles of melted white chocolate on top of each muffin and drag a toothpick from center outward to create a spider web effect.
Notes
You can use royal icing instead of white chocolate for sharper spider web designs.
