Description

A festive Halloween twist on the classic seven-layer dip, topped with a sour cream spiderweb design.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix refried beans with taco seasoning and spread evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
  2. Layer guacamole, salsa, sour cream (reserve a little for decorating), shredded cheese, tomatoes, olives, and green onions.
  3. Transfer reserved sour cream to a piping bag or plastic bag with a small tip cut off.
  4. Pipe sour cream in a spiderweb pattern across the top of the dip.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

For an extra spooky touch, place a plastic spider in the center before serving.
