Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/21 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 1 (10 ounce) package mini marshmallows
  • Gold chocolate coins (wrapped in gold)

Instructions

  • Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.
  • Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and green food coloring until well combined.
  • Add Rice Krispies and stir until evenly coated.
  • Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • Sprinkle with gold chocolate coins.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use butter instead of margarine. You can also add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
