- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2–1 teaspoon green food coloring
- 1 (10 ounce) package mini marshmallows
- Gold chocolate coins (wrapped in gold)
Instructions
- Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and green food coloring until well combined.
- Add Rice Krispies and stir until evenly coated.
- Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Sprinkle with gold chocolate coins.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use butter instead of margarine. You can also add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
