- 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, making sure to cover as much as possible.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.
Notes
For extra texture, top with chopped nuts or crushed graham crackers before baking. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for a decadent touch.
