Creepy and delicious stuffed mushrooms that look like eyeballs, perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients

- 12 large white mushrooms
- 150g cream cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 12 black olives (sliced)
- Red food coloring or ketchup for ‘veins’
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Remove mushroom stems and finely chop them.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped stems with garlic.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, breadcrumbs, sautéed stems, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture.
- Top each mushroom with a slice of black olive to create the ‘eyeball’.
- Use a toothpick to draw ‘veins’ with food coloring or ketchup.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Serve warm for the best spooky effect.
