Description
A fluffy and moist rice cooker cake flipped like a Tarte Tatin, bursting with the sweetness of canned peaches. Perfect for a simple yet stunning dessert!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can canned peaches
- 150 grams pancake mix
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 50 ml milk
- 100 ml syrup from the canned peaches
Instructions
- Drain the canned peaches and reserve 100 ml of the syrup.
- Slice the peaches into even wedges.
- Grease the bottom of the rice cooker pot and arrange the peach slices neatly.
- In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
- Add pancake mix and the reserved syrup to the bowl, and mix well.
- Pour the batter gently over the peaches in the rice cooker.
- Start the rice cooker and cook for one cycle (about 40-50 minutes depending on the model).
- Check doneness with a skewer — it should come out clean.
- Let it cool slightly, then flip it onto a plate to serve warm or chilled.
Notes
Use a non-stick rice cooker pot for easy release. The peach syrup enhances the flavor and keeps the cake moist.
