Description

A fluffy and moist rice cooker cake flipped like a Tarte Tatin, bursting with the sweetness of canned peaches. Perfect for a simple yet stunning dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can canned peaches
  • 150 grams pancake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 50 ml milk
  • 100 ml syrup from the canned peaches

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned peaches and reserve 100 ml of the syrup.
  2. Slice the peaches into even wedges.
  3. Grease the bottom of the rice cooker pot and arrange the peach slices neatly.
  4. In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  5. Add pancake mix and the reserved syrup to the bowl, and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter gently over the peaches in the rice cooker.
  7. Start the rice cooker and cook for one cycle (about 40-50 minutes depending on the model).
  8. Check doneness with a skewer — it should come out clean.
  9. Let it cool slightly, then flip it onto a plate to serve warm or chilled.

Notes

Use a non-stick rice cooker pot for easy release. The peach syrup enhances the flavor and keeps the cake moist.
